B.E.N. Nutrition was built to give people the mineral foundation modern food may no longer provides. Not as another supplement on the shelf, but as the layer underneath everything else.
Fernando Reis. Founder of B.E.N. Nutrition. Founder of the B.E.M. School (2012).
I spent more than a decade in Los Angeles studying how the human body actually works. Not in one discipline, but across several: human development, epigenetics, neuroendocrinology, psychoneuroimmunology. I wanted to understand the body as a system, not as a list of separate parts.
When I came back to Brazil, I founded the B.E.M. School in 2012 and have been working with people on integrative wellness ever since. Over more than a decade of practice, one pattern kept showing up in everyone I worked with regardless of age, background, or starting point.
People were missing the basics. Not the latest superfood, not the most advanced protocol, not the trendy biohack, the actual nutritional foundation their bodies were built to run on. And no matter how much they were doing right elsewhere, that missing foundation kept holding them back.
So I started looking. The science was clearer than I expected, decades of peer-reviewed research had already documented that modern food carries a fraction of the trace minerals it once did, and that fulvic compounds, a family of natural mineral carriers, were one of the most studied solutions in the literature. What I could not find was a product I would actually trust to recommend. Most of what was on the market was either marketing dressed as science, or it lacked a degree of purity and quality.
So I built it. The product is B.E.N. Minerals, and B.E.N. Nutrition is the company we built around it. I did not do it alone: I built it with two people I have known and trusted for years, Kleber Alves, a longtime friend and former Microsoft engineer who runs technology and growth, and Felipe Ditzel, who leads our commercial side. The three of us are not a corporate team. We are three people who decided that a real mineral foundation should exist, and that we would build it ourselves if no one else was going to.

Also a longtime student at the B.E.M. School and a close friend of Fernando for years. Leads everything commercial at B.E.N. Nutrition: partnerships, distribution, and the side of the business that connects the product with the people who need it.
A small team with high standards. That is the entire org chart.
These are the beliefs B.E.N. Nutrition was founded on. They are not marketing language. They are the decisions that shape every label, every test, every choice we make about what goes into the bottle and what stays out.
Trace minerals are not a wellness trend. They are a biological baseline, cofactors the body has used to function for as long as there has been a body. We do not chase the latest superfood, the newest biohack, or the adaptogen of the month. We build the layer that has to be there before anything else can work.
Every claim we make is supported by peer-reviewed research we can link you to. Not press releases from our own company, not influencer testimonials, not "studies show" without citation. We publish our research library openly. If a claim cannot be traced back to a paper in a reputable journal, we do not make it.
We manufacture under current Good Manufacturing Practices, test with independent third-party labs. Not the certifications every supplement brand has, the details most of the category skips. We make it in the USA, we source deliberately, and we put the specifics on the label.
Every ingredient. Every amount. Every certification. Listed in plain language, in the exact spots you expect to find them. No proprietary blends hiding behind a single number, no footnotes written to be confusing, no trace actives added just so they can be mentioned on the front of the bottle. If it is in B.E.N. Minerals, it is on the label. If it is not on the label, it is not in the bottle.
These are not the four things we say. These are the four things we do.
Every brand tells you what they do. Very few tell you what they refuse to do. Here is our list. Not because we are different for the sake of being different, but because each of these choices would contradict the kind of product we set out to build.
When a label says "mineral blend: 500mg" without telling you how much of each ingredient is in there, that is not a formulation it is a hiding place. B.E.N. Minerals does the opposite. FDA regulations group trace ingredients under 2% DV into a single line on the Supplement Facts panel, which we are required to follow but we go further. We publish our complete composition profile openly: every mineral, every amino acid, every organic acid, with typical concentration values where measurable. If you want the full list of what is in the bottle, we do not hide it behind a blend. We hand it to you.
Magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide, artificial colors, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, the list of industrial additives that end up in most supplements exists because it makes manufacturing cheaper and faster, not because the body needs them. B.E.N. Minerals is a liquid for a reason. There is nothing in the bottle that is there to help the machine run smoother.
Most liquid supplements on the market add something to make them more palatable: sugar, sucralose, stevia, erythritol, "natural flavors," artificial flavors, the list goes on. B.E.N. Minerals does not. What you taste is what is actually in the bottle. If it tasted like a sports drink, there would be a reason and we would not be able to tell you honestly what was in it.
"Clean label" is the most overused phrase in the supplement industry. It means something different depending on who is saying it and is rarely defined with scope. When we say clean, we mean it in a way we can prove. We test against over 500 pesticides and herbicides, not the short standard panels most of the category runs. If the definition of "clean" does not include everything we test, then it is not our definition of clean.
There is a difference between a brand testing its own product and a brand submitting its product to an independent, certified third-party lab that has no financial stake in the result. The first is quality control. The second is verification. We do both. And when we say "third-party tested" on the label, it is because an outside lab has actually run the analysis not because the phrase looked good next to the other certifications.
The most important tests in a mineral supplement are usually the most expensive ones: PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons), residual solvents, extraction contaminants, extended pesticide panels. Most brands skip them because they cost more and take longer. We run them because those are the tests where bad sourcing actually shows up. Not doing them is not rigor it is avoiding knowing.
Every "no" in this list is a "yes" to something else. Saying no to proprietary blends is saying yes to transparency. Saying no to shortcut testing is saying yes to knowing what is actually in the bottle. Every refusal on this page is really a choice about what we want B.E.N. Nutrition to be.
Beliefs are easy to claim. Refusals are easy to list. What separates them from marketing language is whether the brand is willing to make them binding. These are the three promises B.E.N. Nutrition stands behind, in writing.
If B.E.N. Minerals isn't right for you, email us within 30 days of receiving your order and we'll refund your full purchase price — no surveys, no justifications, and no need to send the bottle back. One refund per customer. The decision is yours, and we respect it. This is the simplest version of a guarantee that exists in the supplement category, and it is deliberate.
If the day comes that we change any ingredient, supplier, or production process in B.E.N. Minerals, every existing customer will be notified directly before the new formula ships. Not through a press release. Not through a label update you might miss. Directly, in writing, with an explanation of what changed and why. Customers who no longer want to continue at that point get a full refund of their most recent order.
The things we listed on the previous section: no synthetic fillers, no added sugars, no flavors, no clean-label marketing, no shortcut testing are not preferences. They are permanent commitments. If at any point in the future a cost pressure, a supply pressure, or a market pressure tempts us to compromise on any of these, we will publicly choose to increase the price of the product, reformulate the entire brand, or discontinue the product before we compromise on the list. You will never open a bottle of B.E.N. Minerals and find something on the label that was not there when you first decided to trust us.
These are not suggestions. They are not preferences. They are written promises signed by the three of us, backed by the brand we are building together.

You know the people. You know the principles. You know what we refuse to do and what we promise. From here, you can try the product yourself or go deeper into the research behind it. Either is a real next step.
Thank you for reading this far. That alone matters to us.
